About Menominee Housing Commission

Menominee Housing Commission is funded by HUD and offers low income housing options for families, couples, and individuals through either our Public Housing or Housing Choice Voucher Programs.

Public Housing Offers:

Family Housing – 2, 3 and 4-bedroom townhouses are located in our Woodhaven and North Hills complexes. Rent is based on income.

  • Tenants pay the utilities except for the water
  • All maintenance is provided, including cutting grass and plowing snow
  • The property is equipped with security cameras

Elderly and Disabled  - 1, 2 bedroom apartments at our Bridgeview Location, with 71 one-bedroom units and 12 two-bedroom units. Rent is based on income.

  • All utilities (except phone and a small additional charge for cable TV and air conditioning)
  • All apartment maintenance
  • Use of all in-house services and amenities, including laundry, community room, recreation room, workout space, great outdoor space including a river walk, covered bike storage, raised garden beds for tenant use, and on-site library
  • Secure building
  • In-house postal services
  • Staffed on-site office

Vouchers are available to use in the community. The participant's portion of the rent is based on income.
